Wee Jasper Naturally

Two weekends of Nature's Wonders this year. 16-17 & 23-24 August - in conjunction with the Australian Science Festival.

Take a look at the program for information on:

  • Carey's Cave Underground Workshop
  • Wee Jasper Under the Stars
  • Wild Caving Experience with CSS
  • Hume and Hovell Guided Walk

Wee Jasper Under the Stars is the signature event for the Wee Jasper Reserves during Wee Jasper Naturally weekends. It's our second year and we are hoping for great weather and a great crowd just like last year. It's on 23 August and will include a jumping castle and face painting for the kids.

Food is available throughout the night courtesy of Mountain Trails Adventure School and then as darkness falls and the stars come out you can get a close look on the giant telescopes from the Wagga Wagga Mobile Observatory.

The giant campfire brings 'em out of the woodwork and we are hoping that many of you will come along and dust off your vocal chords or even your guitar and give us a performance. Last year saw much local talent unearthed, some regular campers also showed us their stuff and it was a great evening.

Bush poets, singers, musicians and all entertainers welcome to come along for an impromptu performance and jam. The more the merrier, no matter what your style.

There's plenty to keep you busy all weekend.
